VOLS: PROMOTING VOLUNTARISM IN EU AND WESTERN BALKANS

The international training ‘’Volunteer Management in Europe’s Youth sector’’ is the main activity of the project VOLS EU - Volunteer Management in Europe’s Youth sector. The training taking place in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina from March 27th – April 3rd and is organised by the Local Democracy Agency Mostar, which is the project’s lead partner.  Young representatives from 12 partner organizations from EU and Western Balkans are participating in the workshops and lectures.  

The Training focuses on two key topics: volunteer management and the process of managing volunteer competences. Its consisted of several workshops using various creative techniques and methods such as working in smaller groups, expressing our thoughts with drawings, researching and presenting to the group and many more.

The aim of the project is to promote volunteer work among young people and youth organizations, Erasmus + as a stimulus for volunteering, to empower youth workers in their efforts to encourage active (social / civic) participation of young people in promoting European values of volunteer work and improve volunteer management in partner organizations.

The trainees will have the opportunity to learn all about volunteering realities in Europe. They will learn to articulate competencies acquired through volunteering, be able to plan the learning process before local volunteering activities, learn how to facilitate and evaluate learning and acquired competences during volunteering.

The international training ‘’Volunteer Management in Europe’s Youth sector’’ is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union within the project VOLS EU - Volunteer Management in Europe’s Youth sector.

VOLS: PROMOCIJA VOLONTIRANJA U EVROPSKOJ UNIJI I NA ZAPADNOM BALKANU

Međunarodni trening „Volonterski menadžment u Evropskom omladinskom sektoru“ je glavna aktivnost projekta VOLS EU – Volontersko upravljanje u Evropskom omladinskom sektoru. Trening se održava u Mostaru, Bosna i Hercegovina od 27. marta do 4. aprila u organizaciji Agencije lokalne demokratije Mostar, koja je lider partner u projektu. Predstavnici mladih iz 12 partner organizacija iz EU i Zapadnog Balkana je učestvovalo u radionicama i predavanjima.

Trening je imao fokus na dvije ključne teme: volonterski menadžment i proces upravljanja sposobnostima volontera. Trening se sastojao od nekoliko radionica koristeći kretivne tehnike i metode kao što je rad u manjim grupama, iskazivanje stavova putem crtanja, istraživanja i prezentovanja u grupi kao i mnoge druge metode.

Cilj projekta je promocija volonterskog rada kod mladih osoba i omladinskih organizacija, Erasmus + kao podstrek za volontiranje, osnaživanje saradnika za mlade u njihovim nastojanjima da osnaže aktivnu (socijalnu i civilnu) participaciju mladih u promociji evropskih vrijednosti volonterskog rada i poboljšati volontersko upravljanje u organizacijama partnerima projekta.

Učesnici treninga će imati priliku da nauče sve o stvarnom stanju volontiranja u Evropi. Oni će učiti kako da povezuju sposobnosti stečene kroz volontiranje, kako da planiraju proces učenja prije nego aktivnosti na lokalnom nivou započnu, učiti će kako da vode i ocjenjuju učenje i stečeno znanje kroz volontiranje.

Međunarodni trening „Volontersko upravljanje u Evropskom omladinskom sektoru“ je finansiran kroz Erasmus+ program EU u okviru projekta VOLS EU – Volontersko upravljanje u Evropskom omladinskom sektoru.
