LDA Zavidovici, in cooperation with ALDA – Association of Local Democracy is implementing the project DECIDE - DEmocratic Compact: Improving Democracy in Europe. The project will run until May 2015, it will be co-ordinated by ALDA.
Representatives of LDA Zavidovici were present on the mid-term conference of the project, held in Nessebar, Bulgaria, in the period of 11th to 13th of June 2014. There, the course of the project by now has been evaluated, and also, one of the goals of the conference was to determine the following steps and activites for all of the local partners.
Local democracy agency Zavidovici is one of three partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina in this project, which also includes the Municipality of Zavidovici and Local democracy agency Prijedor.
The project, within the Europe for Citizen Programme, forters the creation of a network of towns committed to increase the quality of democracy and citizen participation in the enlarged Europe. The network will be key to generate a democratic compact, a set of measures which will be tested and further disseminated in Europe.
The partnership is composed of 24 partners from 14 countries: 4 countries of the “old” EU15, 6 countries accessing the EU between 2004 and 2007 and 4 IPA countries. This will allow an enriching exchange among partners with different track record in the EU and will contribute to develop a sense of belonging to a common “house”.
KONFERENCIJA U OKVIRU PROJEKTA „DECIDE“ ODRŽANA U NESEBARU, BUGARSKA
ALD Zavidovići u saradnji sa ALDA – Asocijacija agencija lokalne demokratije, implementira projekt DECIDE (Demokratski kompakt: Unaprjeđivanje demokratije u Evropi). Projekt će trajati do maja 2015., i koordiniran je od strane ALDA-e.
Predstavnici ALD Zavidovići bili su prisutni na konferenciji u okviru projekta koja je održana u Nesebaru, Bugarska, u periodu od 11. do 13. Juna 2014. Tamo je izvršena evaluacija dosadašnjeg toka projekta, a osim toga, jedan od ciljeva konferencije je bio da se utvrde sljedeći koraci i aktivnosti za sve lokalne partnere.
Ambasada lokalne demokratije Zavidovići je jedna od tri partnera iz Bosne i Hercegovine u ovom projektu, koji također uključuje Općinu Zavidovići i Agenciju lokalne demokratije Prijedor.
Projekt, koji je dio programa Evropa za građane, potiče stvaranje mreže gradova posvećenih tome da poboljšaju kvalitet demokratije i učešća građana u proširenoj Evropi. Ova mreža će biti ključna u formiranju demokratskog kompakta, seta mjera koje će biti testirane i dalje proširene u Evropi.
Partnerstvo u projektu dijele 24 partnera iz 14 zemalja: 4 zemlje iz „starih“ EU15, 6 zemalja koje su pristupile EU između 2004. i 2007., te 4 zemlje koje su dio IPA programa. Ovo će obezbijediti razmjenu iskustava među partnerima koji imaju različitu istoriju u EU, te doprinjeti osjećaju pripadanja zajednici.
